Coming Soon: 2024 Kia Seltos

Kia’s smallest SUV arrives with big changes for the new year. The 2024 Kia Seltos boasted a revamped appearance and the latest interior technology to match at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show, where it made its debut last month. 

The mid-generation glow-up includes a boost in performance, freshly minted X-Line trim, and a first-in-segment panoramic display, to name a few. These enhancements keep the Seltos a stand-out vehicle in an otherwise saturated entry SUV segment. 

The 2024 Kia Seltos will go on sale early next year in five available trims with front-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations. 

What’s New for 2024? 

The past couple of years have been some of the best in Kia history. Since the launch of the EV6 and all-new Telluride, the brand has solidified its spot as an automotive trailblazer, and they have the record-setting sales to prove it. Keeping this momentum strong, the 2024 Seltos arrives with a number of enhancements. 

New for 2024, the Seltos features revised styling on the front and rear fascia that speak to Kia’s future-oriented philosophy. Three new attention-grabbing paint jobs also add to the Selto’s zest: Pluton Blue, Fusion Black, and Valais Green. 

The Seltos continues Kia’s pioneering legacy with a first-in-segment panoramic display featuring two 10.25-inch screens. Rounding out this mid-generation update is the addition of the X-line trim.

Exterior 

Drivers can expect standout style with the 2024 Seltos. New for this model year is Kia’s signature ‘Star Map’ lighting. This distinctive silhouette across the front grille emphasizes the Selto’s strong appearance, giving it an instantly recognizable look. Rear design elements mimic the signature lighting on the front creating a harmonious yet powerful look. 

Other distinct features of this subcompact SUV include a new geometric wheel design available on the LX, S, EX, and SX trims. 

Built for all of life’s adventures, the Seltos includes high-utility roof rails that enable all types of adventuring. Whether it’s navigating the busy city streets or scouting for the next best camping spot, the Seltos offers features that take you to each destination with safety, style, and ease. 

Performance

It wouldn’t be a Kia refresh without some added power and performance. The 2024 Seltos continues its legacy of delivering confidence-inspiring performance and comfortability. New for 2024, the SUV gets a bump in power and a newly available transmission for smoother ride and handling. 

The revised 1.6-liter turbo engine boasts an extra 20 hp making for a total of 195 horsepower. On the standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, it delivers a robust 146 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft of torque. 

Despite being the smallest of Kia’s SUVs (sitting between the more compact Soul and larger Sportage), the Seltos is not limited in its capabilities. Three drive modes – Normal, Smart, and Sport – allow the driver to tailor their vehicle to their desired driving experience. Similarly, torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive opens the door to all-weather driving with enhanced traction and control. 

EPA estimates for fuel economy have not been released for the 2024 Seltos yet. It is expected to remain similar to last year’s model, which offered a generous 35 mpg highway for front-wheel-drive models. 

Interior

The 2024 Kia Seltos arrives with a refreshed interior to match its new good looks. Paving the way for its segment, the Seltos offers an available panoramic screen display that combines the 10.25-inch instrument cluster and center display. A new dash trim furthers the bright and geometric cabin feel. 

Passengers of the Seltos are welcomed with luxurious materials, bold design elements, and ample room. In fact, the Seltos offers more overall interior room and cargo space than any other SUV in its class.

Designed with the goal of making the on-the-road journey as enjoyable as possible, the Seltos offers thoughtful safety and convenience technologies. Some of these include:

• Available eight-speaker Bose Premium Audio system
• Available wireless charging pad

Like the other vehicles in Kia’s stable, the 2024 Seltos arrives with Kia Drive Wise technology. Nine driver-assist features work in harmony to create a driving experience that’s easier, safer, and more enjoyable. Some of the features include: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot Collision Warning, High Beam Assist, Rear View Monitor, and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control. 2024 Kia Seltos X-Trim 

The Seltos is the latest Kia vehicle to gain an X-line trim. Opting for this grade adds exclusive exterior upgrades like a bridge-type roof rack, uniquely designed 18-inch wheels, and an exclusive front grille design with a gunmetal finish.

2023 Kia Seltos Trims 

The 2023 Kia Seltos arrives in five trims: LX, S, EX, X-Line, and SX trims. Two powertrain choices are also available: front-wheel drive or an active all-wheel-drive configuration.
